Following our successful webinars during 2021, TIRA-SA is excited to invite you to our next webinar titled Bulletproof against Bullying.

Dr Yolinda Steyn is a Trauma Therapist, Social Worker in Private Practice, CPD Trainer, Lecturer and External Examiner. She has been a guest on the South African VIA-TV program, facilitating interviews with clients that were exposed to traumatic events. She also took part in a Radio talk on the South African RSG radio station.

She has also developed several resources to aid parents, teachers and social workers:

Bulletproof against Bullying Manual & DVD (COMBO)
Spirit-Soul-Body Workshop: A Holistic Approach to detox your brain with 10 effective HABITS
Transactional Analysis with Adults in the Workplace.

The topics Dr Steyn will cover are:

What is bullying (statistics; types of bullying; differences between CONFLICT & BULLYING; warning signs of bullying)
Bullying in the South African school setting.
Bullying in the family (including “gaslighting”)
Bullying in the workplace
Short introduction/discussion on relevant scholarly articles with regards to Bullying
Way forward/therapeutic interventions with children and adults being bullied.
Child-focused “Bulletproof against Bullying” program for a primary school that can be utilized in a group setting and individually. This can also be of use in other situations.
Discuss the application of TIR & related Applied Metapsychology techniques in the above situations.
